The Opportunity:

This is an ideal time for an ambitious, self-motivated individual to join our commercial team and help shape the direction of our lead generation and sales management processes.

As a BDM, you will work alongside the sales team, reporting directly to the Head of Sales to formulate the company’s campaign and lead generation activities as well as engaging with prospects conducting initial discovery calls building up to managing the full sales cycle. This is a fantastic opportunity to join the journey and help lead the charge from the front line.

You should be passionate about sales, marketing and lead generation, positive in everything you do, and organised with the ability to execute to clear objectives as well as setting your own goals.


As one of the main markets for Cassie, the Company is a focus for many of our sales initiatives. The successful candidate will therefore need the flexibility to cater for US time zones as and when required.


The Role

Principal Responsibilities:


  • Develop outbound engagement activities to support on existing sales and marketing activities.
  • Nurture leads that have been developed from Marketing outbound/inbound campaigns.
  • Operate our day-to-day initial MQL engagement processes.
  • Proactively seek new business opportunities in the market.
  • Build long-term trusting relationships with prospects to qualify leads as sales opportunities.
  • Work closely with colleagues in Marketing to ensure alignment on activities or campaigns that support your outbound activities.
  • Work closely with senior members of the Sales team to set up effective prospecting strategies.
  • Engage professionally with clients to conduct discovery calls.
  • Manage and maintain the company CRM system, ensuring all sales-related activity is input accurately and efficiently.
  • Provide accurate reporting on sales-related activities and results achieved.


Experience:


  • A min 2 years prior experience as an SDR or junior BDM with a track record of exceeding lead targets.
  • The ability to deliver results and maintain a hunger to succeed without constant supervision.
  • A proven track record of building value propositions to drive new business wins.
  • Experience in CRM and sales enablement platforms such as Zoho CRM, ZoomInfo and Sales Navigator.
  • Experience in developing commercial lead-generation activities that deliver tangible results.
  • A commercial approach and ability to substantiate ideas to the senior management team on how to approach different verticals.
  • An ability to focus on customer engagement and build business relationships.
  • Ideally exposure to C-Level and Enterprise companies.

  • Strong communication skills via phone and email - Confident speaking over the phone and presenting.
  • Understand SaaS.
  • Passion for sales and lead generation.
  • Good interpersonal skills, able to build positive relationships at all levels and with all types of people.
  • Strong commercial outlook with good time management skills.
